Work-in-progress boat for sale (Northeaster dory)

Note to potential buyers:

C17’ Northeaster Dory with tan-bark sails & lug rig.

Initial assembly completed at CLC’s Annapolis shop during a Wooden Boat School class (40+ hrs).  Hull built & glassed; seats, rudder, & daggerboard cut & sanded.  Mast has not been scarfed.

Boat's been on sawhorses for several years now. Needs some minor assembly / fabrication work & to be refinished prior to paint. Been under a tarp at all times; epoxy has blistered a bit due to time, no damage to marine plywood. All instruction / assembly manuals available.

Now that the weather is turning, it’s time to get this boat in the hands of someone who will finish it & get out on the water.

Car-toppable on mid-to-large car (i.e. station wagon).

Boat currently in Washington, DC.

Photos available on request.

$1500 (< 50% of kit cost)
