Re: Sailrig leeboard bolt

We went further and used our school's CNC machine to make a large version of a wingnut, into which the supplied wingnut dropped into. Our leeboard bolt is now over 100mm wide. It's amazing the amount of torque we can use, even with cold hands. We also used some foamex (foam pvc) discs as washers to make it even more grippy.
Maybe I'll post a dxf if anyone's interested.
