Sailrig leeboard bolt
Posted by Philip on Mar 19, 2008
Hi out there. Haven't been paying attention these days/years, but I thought I'd give you sailrig builders and users a tip. I built a sailrig a few years ago and had a heck of a time finding a comfortable size hand tightened leeboard bolt. You know, the one that has the knobby looking head. Anyway, I found that going to a bicycle shop and buying the quick release seat post nut and bolt works great. just a flip of the lever and she is tightened or released. They are available in aluminum.
