I like to put everything I have into it, and give one huge horrific pump from hell to the jug and watch the plug come out at 9,000,000 FPS and put a dent in the bench. You know me ... always looking for ways to add a little excitement to boat building.

Seriously, I keep extra pumps on hand. They're cheap enough, why not? It's not cleaning them that bothers me, it's the fear of leaving a little bit of something that cuts epoxy in an epoxy pump. How in the world do you get fuzzy that you've got it all out and everything's safe?
