Coastal Rowing Cruiser

I was wondering if anyone new of a boat along the lines of the Sea Island Sport, but about 17 feet long with room for a rowing rigger in the cockpit. It needs the ability to carry some camping gear inside.

I was looking at the Mill Creek 16.5, but the cockpit is large enough to hold a large volume of water when rowing along the coast in waves.

I really like the self bailing aspect of the Sea Island Sport.

If it makes any difference, the boat would need to be able to carry about 500 pounds. This includes weight of rower, rigging, and camping supplies.
