Merlin Heritage II

Dang it, I meant to add that Kurt Loup, over in Baton Rouge, and an occasional visitor to this forum, sold me on the Merlin as the design to run with. He and I both fish the same way: in shallow backwater salt marshes targeting redfish with fly rods. He even lived here for a while before heading over that way, and thus tends to make uncannily convincing cases for practically everything he talks about.

In the past, he's suggested that I build a hybrid Squeedunk Cormorant, and an Outer Island. I believe he's God now, and will do anything he says.
