Wood Duck Fwd Water Tight

I just ordered a Wood Duck 12 kit and I was wondering about the lack of a forward watertight compartment.

Is there any reason it doesn't have one?

It seems like it would be easy to add and would help with capsize recovery.

Has anyone added a forward water tight compartment to theirs?

I saw those inflatable bladders as accessories and wondered why if there is room for those bladders there isn't room for a compartment.
