We went to the Great Lakes Sea Kayak Symposium two or three times, but the attendance had flagged and it's a VERY long way to drive from here. (I didn't mind going just for the UP scenery, but feeding fuel to the CLC road rig has a way of focusing one's travel plans.)

In Michigan we've usually stopped in Holland, and that demo is always thronged. We get to Wisconsin at least twice a year. Once we were up on Lake Superior (I forget the town name) on the Wisconsin side, but that was lightly attended, too. Madison events are always a mob scene---see us there next March.
