I have the same question as you and am at the same point in my build. I see that you've gotten several responses to your question, but the responses don't seem to answer the question. The Shop Tip suggests to slip the forward deck slightly under the nailed-on rear deck and then to cut through. But how do you put the forward deck "under" the rear deck after the rear deck has been sitting epoxied onto the shear clamps? Is another equally good solution to put the forward deck slightly OVER the rear deck and then cut throuth? If so, how to unattach the small part of the rear deck that is cut off but is still glued to the shear clamps?
