Ususally a small amount

That amount totally depends on temps at the time. I sprayed some Brightsides inside a boat last week with no thinner, but it was 95 in the shop at the time. If it had been even as low as the 80s I'd have had to thin some.

Be sure to use the correct thinner. There are two - one for brushed finish and one for spray.

One point- DO NOT wipe down a previous coat of Brightsides with the brushing thinner- It will crinkle the paint- Even a small amount on a paper towel will do so. Trust me- I had to completely strip and repaint a 16 foot sailboat due to that. We wipe down between coats with plain mineral spirits on a dampened paper towel.
