dog may never swim again

My dog may never swim again. Been using bacon to train her on land to get into the boat, and yesterday, she was absolutely content to let me do the driving--she usually swims along. I guess I am ready for river camping.

Thanks all for advice. I think I have a better sense of limitations, a little more assurance on what the risks are, how to counter them and that I can fix the boat if it goes crunch. There are still few rivers in mid-atlantic that lack rocks and have camping--will report my findings. David
