The kit panels in the Mill Creek 13 are correct in terms of everything fitting together per the manual. The kit parts in many of the boats vary slightly from the plans-drawings-for-people-building-from-plans, as we have massaged the kit parts over the years (12 years in production in the case of the MC13). The plans parts also fit with one another; the upshot is that plans-boats differ in shape by 1% or something like that.

In recent generations of boats we've started leaving out the plans-builder materials, which has reduced builder anxiety a great deal.
