Plastic? What kind of plastic? It's the little things like that that will make or break this adventure. Trying to glue a rotomolded polyethylene hull on the scale you are talking about sounds like a losing proposition to me. And an 11' boat is going to have a lot of limitations if you are interested in paddling any distance.
