hey thanks for that John,

It helps a bit yeah. Having spent untold numbers of night in a Eureka I know what you're talking about. fortunately I have moved on from those tents and prefer a simple fly arrangement (if anything) for the nice spring/summer nights we have here in Australia. I would still like to hear from people who may have done some extended trips in their kayaks, just to round out my info base.
