PassageMaker..need help

K these are my 3 concerns....

during the process of applying the first layer of epoxy on my planks is it normal for my first layer of epoxy which was unthickened to form these little bumps....

and then in the manual it says to sand until its not shinny anymore...then wash surface and apply seond coat...

so when they say noth shinny ....when i look at it directly after a fair bit of sanding with 120 grit....it get to the point of being dull..but if i tilt it to catch a reflection they re is always a little bit of shinny..is that ok ..hard to describe...apart from that everything is going well so far....

pretty sure the boat will turn out ok....its def a humbling process lol...

and the worst of the worst is that i cant find denatured alcohol....does water and vinegar do the same trick......if so what mix ratio..like 2:1 water to vinegar ....

anyways im more concerned at this point about my layers of epoxy.....seems like im sanding and pretty much just leaving what was absorbed within the wood....like turning wood into a plastic...

am i on the right track
