I'm not certain, but I believe the fairing coating you are looking for is called "Pre-Kote", by Interlux if I'm not mistaken. You can buy it right here on CLC's website, as you can most of the other supplies you'll need for the PMD build (including varnish). This might be a good option for you if you're remote.
