5200 WOULD work, but

it sure isn't gonna cure in 30 minutes. Not even the fast cure will do that. More like 48 hours.Regular 5200 takes up to a week to develop full cure.

Yes it would work. I've even patched an inflatable with 5200 to hold the patch on. Did it in 1982 and that patch is still tight today.

But epoxy would be better for your application. And faster.

If you don't have an epoxy set up, you can buy repair kit refills from West Marine. They come in packets like mayo and kechup in fast food places- just tear open a package of each and mix together.
