I haven't tried one yet, but from the photos it looks as if the Duck would be faster (the hull shape, less wetted area) and stand up to rougher conditions (flare, deck shape and cockpit opening size) than the Mill Creek. It also looks as if the tumblehome would allow the use of Greenland paddles, as well as making Euro paddles easier to use. The shorter hull should make it more maneuverable and the coaming seems ready for a spray skirt. I get the impression that besides being a good flat water boat, it'd actually be happy in some chop and baby to moderate rapids.

Mr. CLC - you guys planning on offering spray skirts for the Ducks?
