Re: Finished Jimmy Sail t

Thanks again Peter.

The mast on the Skerry is shorter. The skerry is rigged for a 56'sq,four-sided sprit sail. The Jimmy Skiff sail shape is called 'leg-o-mutton', and I built a custom Sailrite sail with a battened leech, which gives me 70'sq. I also added a row of reef points, which are not available on the 58'sq sail that CLC sells for this boat.

The hardware was not part of the Sailrite sail making kit. However, I did buy the stainless steel track and shackles from Sailrite at the same time as I ordered the sail kit. I purchaced the bronze cleats and Harken blocks at Hamilton Marine in Portland ME.
