sea island warp in frame

I am in the stitch phase, and have the keel wired to the frame. When I come up to the next level, I run into a problem - its like I am trying to force a piece that doesn't fit. I am attaching the bottom panels which flatten out from the V base, but they are not happy about flattening, and I can't seem to get a big warp out of the mid section. It might disappear when I put on the side panels, but I am afraid to move on.

I haven't built anything with a frame before (A CH LT and a Mill creek),and already have blisters from rewiring! Any advice?
