If you want a play boat, fix it up, maybe even just paint the deck, fill the gaps and go. Lazlo has the best approach if you want a good overall deal on a pretty decent boat. When you decide to build your own you will have some very good experience to go on. It` like if you have to ask..... In any project than was a cobbled up hand me down; I have found it best to stay away from it or get it back to the most solid base. Rebuild from strngth, then I had someting. We allc ome across projects like this. They can be a lot of fun or a very expensive waste of time and money.
