Thanks for the tip.
I just this year added a handheld VHF radio to our kayaking gear since we seem to venturing into rougher and more remote waters. (Got the new submesible/floating iCom.) The thing is - I don't have much knowledge about using one.
I can get the weather and I'm pretty sure I'd know what to do if I needed to call for help, but I have no experience actually using the thing to communicate.
