Re: MiniCell Power Carvin

Eh, there ain't but one speed to work minicell at, and we're all pretty much stuck with it.

The best advice I can give is to secure the foam to the bench while working it, particularly with power tools. It's easy -- just clamp a couple blocks of wood, mashed against the foam, to the bench or piece of plywood.

With power tools, rotation is everything; attack it the wrong way and it'll be grabby, dashing out of control. Try the other side of the disk and you'll find it meek as a lamb.

I prefer Dragon Skin for the finer work, but Mac has lotsa company in preferring the SurForm. Sandpaper never did much for me, I go straight from angle grinder to Dragon Skin to water. Never tried the heat gun treatment, either. Braaaak, bok, bok, bok.
