I would try that but...The top side is epoxied. I cannot sand the epoxy off because I have a really nice burn of a bald eagle on it. So I am not willing to try to 'bend it more.' I believe it was my fault for putting it 2" further fore than the plans call for. I will see if it leaks. If I can't get it to not leak, I do have a piece of wood ordered to make another. Then I will most likely have a really cool hatch cover for sale at a bargain.
