Small bubble under glass

Posted by Paul D on May 11, 2007

I have one spot where I managed to get a small air bubble, slightly smaller than a penny, underneath my fiberglass on the hull. I also have a spot where a ripple formed in the glass also which is very visible. There's a bit of air under this also. It's maybe 1-2 inches long, right at the top of the side, just below the shear clamp. This is obviously all dried now. I'm going to start my extra coats of epoxy now. What can I do to "fix" these so they won't be visible after my remaining epoxy coats and into the sanding process. I'm attempting to go for a bright hull. Thanks in advance for your help...Paul
