Shawn,

I'm in Charleston also! But, I'm in Charleston, South Carolina.

I just finished my Shearwater last night! I still have to mount the backband and seat and etc., but the boat building part of it is over. Just thought I would chip in some encouragment, I was somewhat intimidated to start this project but I have to say taken one step at a time nothing is ever very hard. The manual is great and accurate. You will be done quicker than you think and with a better looking boat than you thought!
