Re: 'Glassing Question

Norm, I just glassed my MC13 hull yesterday afternoon. Using a dry squeegee to simply flatten & smooth the cloth on the hull before epoxy application works extremely well. Not knowing exactly what to expect time-wise, I faced the wet-coat application with a bit of trepidation as I got a late start in the afternoon. I was surprised how fast it actually went after 10-15 minutes of getting a feel for it. Used the squeegees for the whole thing ...got great coverage and no bare spots. Whole first coat process start to finish (incl. draping the hull) was something around 2 1/2 hours. Rolled on a second fill coat this morning in about 15-20 minutes. good luck. Dean
