I bought it from Waters Dancing, lucked out one day. That said, you can buy such beasts from metal sales companies. I happened to visit one while looking for a metal strip and saw brass strips in stock. Check out local metal suppliers, I bet that you will find a brass half-round strip there. Donnie had a 1/4 inch strip that was 4' long, perfect for my need. I'll probably add the same to the stern of the VJ some time this or next year. For now, only the bow has a brass strip but dayum if it don't work beautifully.
