Jon is correct. Just put spacers (or wedges) in and continue. It will work out. The spacers can be trimmed off after the epoxy hardens. It doesn't look bad, in fact you won't see it unless you really look for it after it is done. You can still bright finish the bottom with no problem.

Also, put masking tape on the outside of the bottom between the wedges when you fillet this part to help hold the epoxy in place.
