I've just started my Mill Creek 16.5. The kids are confident in their keyhole cockpits on their CH16's but mom and I wanted something more open. Although we plan to use it on the calm waters in Algonquin Park, we will also use it closer to home here on Lake St. Clair and around Point Pelee. It seems to be the right combination and size for us. Maybe someday we can meet half way on Pelee Island and swap kayak building stories while sipping some good wine. Keep in touch.
