Julian,

1. You buy graphite here for $6.99/6 oz.

2. 15% to 25% graphite by volume, mixed in after the epoxy & hardener have been thoroughly mixed. Works best if epoxy is added to the powder a little at a time (just like adding milk to cocoa powder).

3. It's NOT harder. It's slippery, so it slides over rocks, oyster shells, etc.

I've used it and it helps, but it doesn't make the boat bulletproof. I'm still planning on using it in the future.
