removing glass and epoxy
Posted by John on Jan 14, 2007
Hi,
Have been building a Mill Creek 16. Glassed the deck and it looks great. However the sides have blistered in the sun and there are ripples in the cured epoxy. I have been meticulous in laying the epoxy down- could heve been excess heat or moisture. Anyhow, I really have to remove it and reglass the hull. Can this be done? I have read comments about using a heat gun and plyers and sanding. What is the most viable method without damaging the wood? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
Regards John
