In defense of 60 grit

Posted by George K on Jan 11, 2007

Hey guys!

I didn't say you didn't have to be careful when using 60 grit! If you're comfortable using the ROS it works great. Keep in mind that you can screw up sanding with ANY grit on a ROS if you're not careful. A variable speed sander helps, also. Slow for heavy grits, faster for lighter. And if 60 still scares you at least use 80! SAves lots of time.
