When a high performance trimaran (which this is) is going fast, the center hull is skimming the water, and might take off from time to time. A centerbord/daggerboard in the center hull will be prone to pulling air down it's low pressure side. It's common to fit daggerboards to the amas for this reason. Sometimes rudders too.

Yes it will be wet. Wet enough to make a windshield hard to see through. Goggles might work, though.
