Lofting etc.

Finally started working on this winter's project, a pair of hybrid Cormorants (deja vu and all that). I guarantee that Mine will not be accomplished as quickly as certain builders in Tejas might manage, but they'll get done. Panels are cut, and I started cutting scarfs last night before work.

Lofting question, any reason why I shouldn't loft straight onto the scarfed and glued panels? I'd think that working with paper would just add a step, and maybe even reduce precision.
