Mike...it's important to change up the paper often. The temptation is to keep using it until there is no grit left but the grit actually gets dull. Dull grit slows down the sanding process quite a lot. I use the hook and loop paper and buy it by the box. When it comes to sanding epoxy you don't want to spend too much time making dust. Also, wear a rubber half-mask with particle filters during sanding. THose fibre filters with the little bendable metal nose pieces are useless. THey only lull you into believing that you are not breathing in the dust. The half-masks are available at any good hardware store. You can also get carbon filters for use during glassing. The carbon filters will filter out organic vapours that can damage your lungs.
