Side Pour?

I was thinking about the no-tape suggestion, and wondered if it would be possible to glue that joint with epoxy thickened to a still-pourable consistency. You would tilt the hull to get the epoxy all the way along, then alternate between forward and backwards tilts every few minutes until it cured. If you did it more than once, you could build up a fillet of sorts. Call it a 'side-pour'.
