Buy a trailer. Mine is a 5' x 10' flat bed, 13' total length. Carry the boat inverted on cushions. Yes the springs are stiff, yes I can see daylight under the wheels due to bumps in the road. I trailed my 17' boat from Miami to Glouchester and back with no damage. I went 80 MPH whenever circumstances permitted. I just stretched the trailer to accommdate my new (longer) boat. Buy something that you can trust.
