Re: Saturn Vue

I have a VUE, which I use to tow my Passagemaker Dinghy. It is an '04 with the Honda-built 250 hp V-6. I think it's a great vehicle overall, and as a small/mid-sized SUV, does great as a camping gear hauler. I would imagine with a roof rack, it should have no problem dealing with some yaks. The 4-banger Ecotec engine has plenty of power for such an application (144 hp and 1500 lbs towing capacity). There is even a hybrid version of the VUE that is available, if fuel consumption is a concern. I've owned four Saturns over the years, and each has been very reliable. I'd say you won't go wrong with a VUE.
