I forgot to include this part. 1) the hull crack is located on the side panel of the cockpit, right about where my knee would be when sitting in the kayak. This section of hull is fiberglassed on both sides and I think that's why it's a crack rather than a hole.

2) the deck hole is 1 1/2 inches in diameter and located about 10" in front of the cockpit coaming. The deck is not fiberglassed, I was just starting to sand the 3rd coat of epoxy.

3) the deck crack is located on the left edge of the deck at the very front of the cockpit. The front part of the damage ends right at the forward bulkhead. The total area is 15" long and about 4" wide.
