It appears to be a true bi-axial tape, without selvedged edges. At least that's the claim.

I should have plenty of extra fabric for this project, I got a good deal on it so I went a little over my requirements, but I just can't stand cutting the fabric and dealing with all the loose strands all over the place. A short piece here or there is one thing, a 16 1/2' shear joint is another (x 2 boats). In short, I'd pay a little extra for convenience sake, but I'm not willing to give up looks.
