finishing techniques
Posted by Bob Lippold on Aug 29, 2006
I'm about to start varnishing and want to make sure it turns out right. Could some of you "experts" with experience give me your tips. I've read the manual and looked at the CLC varnishing tips (2 different methods). I've done all the initial sanding down to 240 sandpaper. What do I clean all the epoxy dust off with- just water. Also do you wipe it down with isopropol or denatured alcohol first and why? Thanks a lot.
