Rick, Some folks carry kayaks, usually small sit-on-tops, fatened to the inside of the lifelines forward of the mast, but the mothership needs to be at least a 30-footer to have the deck space, even for small kayaks. I assume this is your problem, Are your two kayaks the same model? I wonder if it's possible to fit a detachable frame that would turn them into a catamaran for towing purposes? You might also need to add some drag, to prevent them scooting ahead on waves, and either hitting the mothership, or getting side-on before the towline tightens again. This is just theory, I've never tried anything like this.
