Core strengthening drills

I've got a lengthy series upcoming on my blog on how paddlers can strengthen their core muscles without use of gym weights, balance or medicine balls.

It's a simple drill called the plank, in some circles called the hover. The drill is isometric and simple. It's also quite challenging for first-timers, but not impossible.

My buddy Mike Harb demonstrates the drill as usual in the photos that accompany the post.
