nd put a couple of bags in the bow and stern. Get a spray skirt to keep the water out of the cockpit. I prefer the zip-up kind, cuz' living in Fla. I do know how hot they can get. Some of the zip-ups can be left on the coaming until nedded and then zipped up. Good Luck P.S. Almost all bulkheads leak and mini-cell foam is not completely waterproof.
