Shearwater paddler weight

I'm thinking of ordering a Shearwater Hybrid to build for my neice. There is a large descrepancy in recommended paddler weight between the web site and the glossy catalog. For example, the 16' shows 90-150 lbs on the web site, but 120-190 lbs in the catalog. I know these are just guidelines, but that difference is pretty big! Can anyone clarify this?
