Paddling shouldn't hurt..

Posted by Adam Bolonsky on Aug 3, 2006

I've got a six-part series, with photos, on how to paddle from the core with true torso rotation.

If your wrists or elbows or shoulders hurt after a day on the water, chances are you aren't rotating your torso and your core needs work.

The six-part series is at paddlingtravelers.blogspot.com

The series is adopted from a pair of articles I wrote for Outdoor Athlete and MetroSports.

The most recent post details three on-water drills to help ensure that you are rotating your torso and not using the so-called kangaroo punch stroke.
