I've heard back from my agent, and he has passed the buck to an underwriter, who should get back to me eventually. I was just looking for coverage for the value of the kit, really. I don't know if there would be much theft risk, as it is a trailerable daysailer, and wouldn't be out of my sight while away from home. I was really just looking for replacement cost coverage (of a kit) in case of an accident while it's on the trailer being towed.

The agent made a big deal that regardless of other coverage, he was certain he could provide liability insurance. As if I was going to tear through a lake under sail in my Passagemaker and wreck some redneck's 100 hp bass boat!
