OK,

Thanks, thats what i was hoping for. I was just testing the deck to see if it fit appropriately. I have only scarfed on the point on the CH 17LT, not both sections of deck together.

It sounds like i just need to try it with multiple straps and/or a helper...and that one person just can't get it to form appropriately without those things. It also sounds like even if it does flatten out too early or has too much bend...it really doesn't matter that much ultimately as long as it is attached securely.

Of course I'll aim for the ideal, not to have it flatten out too much or bend too much.
