I've used the two part Poly and it was not that hard to apply, I used foam brushes and did it outdoors (really smelly stuff) It is very very hard and very expensive. It does not seem to cover well. I used a litre to paint a 17 foot rowboat and could of used a litre more. It is very shiny and stands up well but I've been told you have to repaint with it as enamel have a hard time sticking to it. Would it I use it again? If money was no object and I wanted a smooth shiny hard surface yes. On a small boat I'm not sure.
